Water is becoming scarcer all over the world. This means we must get the most out of every drop. NX Filtration is facilitating a step in this direction by developing innovative membranes that purify water of pollutants. Jotem Hydropilots developed a pilot system for testing nanofiltration membranes which filter, among other things, dyes, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics from water.

Jotem developed a compact, easily transportable system that allows NX Filtration to test new capillary membranes on a small scale. The system is equipped for various membrane types, is fully automated and features advanced data logging and trending. The pilot has a 4″ membrane with a representative length for the right pressure drop characteristics. This allows NX Filtration to rely on trustworthy results that they can monitor remotely.
