The power of the latest de-ironing technology
The bigger the better does not apply to de-ironing systems. One of our clients was struggling with a dated and unnecessarily large (oversized) system, which consumed too much energy and generated running costs that were too high. We developed a smaller model, the size of a 20-ft container, that uses state-of-the-art technology.
Hydropilot de-ironing
What was our approach? We developed a complete de-ironing system and continuously monitored and analysed its performance. We also had the end customer take and analyse samples. This gave us a clear picture of the process, which we could use to design an optimally efficient setup. The result? The de-ironing system could be made 25% smaller, without compromising quality. Leading to enormous reductions in energy consumption, savings on large steel filter tanks, and more.
